About the event
TUKE - The Totnes Ukulele KollectivE have been providing beginners lessons since 2019, approximately half of the Kollective's players started their Uke playing via our lessons.
We provide a friendly and safe learning environment where we use songs and a structured approach to develop & improve your strumming and chord knowledge on route to playing your favourite pop songs.
Lessons run at least 3 times a month between 18th January and end on 7th June 2027. The lessons cost £50, with all monies raised used to develop 'all things Ukulele' in the town, including the Totnes Ukulele Festival. Costs work out at ~ £3.50 per lesson. For this you receive lesson handouts, the lesson (& homework, sorry :-)) and free access (saving you ~ £15) to our Uke Jams in the Barrel House Ballroom every Monday evening, where you'll be able to hone your new skills.
